Most of the mountains are under the jurisdiction of the Bureau Of Land Management (91.6%). The range has many species of Lizard s, as well as the Panamint Rattlesnake and glossy snake. Trees found in the range include singleleaf pinyon pines, Arizona cypress, white and Douglas Fir , and Utah and Rocky Mountain Juniper s. REFERENCES
