Vienna Independent Shorts

Vienna Independent Shorts (VIS) is a short film festival that takes place once a year in Vienna . Being Austria 's largest short film festival, it was founded in 2004 by the merger of several smaller Film Festival s and associations. Since 2005 , Vienna Independent Shorts is organized by the association ''Independent Cinema''.

The winner of the audience award ''Golden Shorts 2005'' was Stefan Wolner ( Austria ) with his short film ''Balls''.

1st Vienna Independent Shorts: June 6th - June 12th , 2004

2nd Vienna Independent Shorts: May 22nd - May 28th , 2005

3rd Vienna Independent Shorts: May 21st - May 28th , 2006
