The Vienna Festival started in 1951 , when Vienna was still Occupied by the Four Allies . Since 1962 the Theater An Der Wien has served as its center for theater. The anthem that is played at the opening every year was Composed by Werner Pirchner . Since 1988 Luc Bondy has served as Artistic Director of the Festival . EXTERNAL LINKS |
