The Sierra de Guadarrama (Mountain range of Guadarrama) is a mountainous alignment pertaining to half this of the Sistema Central (center of Spain ). In addition it is located between the Sierra de Gredos ( Ávila ) and Ayllón ( Guadalajara ). One extends in southwestern-northeast direction and between the provinces of Madrid , to the south, and Ávila and Segovia , to the north.
