The following are common types of deliberative assemblies:
A Committee is a type of small deliberative assembly that is subordinate to another deliberative assembly. A deliberative assembly may have different classes of members. Common classes are voting members (also known as regular members), who have the right to vote, Ex-offico Members , and honorary members. A deliberative assembly may, or may not be, representative. For example, a board is comprised of elected representatives; but there are no representatives in a mass meeting of members. SEE ALSO
