In September of 1916 , the Russians began to form ASF out of ships, which had been transferred from Vladivostok or acquired abroad. It included 1 Battleship , 2 Cruisers , 6 Destroyer s, 2 Submarine s and other ships. ASF secured allied Shipment s of Weapons and Cargo , intended for the Russian Army , Fleet and defense factories.

After Russia 's withdrawal from the World War I , the flotilla comprised approx. 90 Combatant and Auxiliary Ship s. In August of 1918 , the best ships of the ASF were captured by the Interventionist s and the White Army . The rest of the ships were intentionally put out of commission or destroyed.
