Annozilla will be able to both view and create Web Annotations associated with a Web Resource (such as a Web Page ). These associations are defined by the W3C 's Annotea project; in brief the idea is to store annotations as Resource Description Framework on a Web Server using XPointer (or constructs similar in function to XPointer ) to identify the region of the document being annotated.
