''Age of Chaos'' (AoC) is a text based Massively Multiplayer Online Role-playing Game (MMORPG). The game features characters from six races: Dwarves , Elves , Human s, Keldis, Mef and Orc s. Peasants are allocated to tasks, such as building or gathering resources and information. Age of Chaos has been running since 2002. There is no charge to play, but there is a Premium service which allows extra features such as a configurable screen layout and message retention. There is a very active forum where new players are encouraged to ask experienced players for help. Building Blueprints are purchased using resources, and then over a period of turns, the empire's builders complete the chosen building. Each new building brings the empire more options: a new military unit, new knowledge to research, or a new list of buildings to start on. The winner of the game is the first person to complete the Royal Palace, a building so huge that it requires millions of units of resources and takes as much construction work as nearly all the other 80 buildings in the game added together. Military An empire's troops can help defend the builders, or venture forth to conquer more land to grow the empire. There are currently fifty unique military units. EXTERNAL LINKS
