The Cathedral of Vilnius is the main Roman Catholic Cathedral or church in Vilnius , the Capital City of Lithuania . It is shown in the photograph here with the cathedral tower on its right side, when one is looking at the front of the cathedral. The chapel of St. Casimir is in the cathedral. This cathedral is situated in an open area called a Cathedral Square . Inisde the Cathedral there is a particular staircase which leads to underground catacombs. The Catacombs has twelve differentlevels and holds tombs and chmabers of many different people, some of which have never been opened. |
