(Maastricht University), founded in
1976 , is the second youngest university in the
Netherlands . It has about 11.500 students and 3000 employees at the moment, 30% of whom are not Dutch.
About half of the courses offered are in
Dutch , the other half in
English , such as Business Administration (''International Business'') at the Faculty of
Economics , (
European Studies ) at the Faculty of Arts and Culture and all the course at the University College Maastricht.
The university is known for its and the
University Of Southern California (USC) at the beginning of 2006.
Various other publications have also rated the university to be the best in the Netherlands. The University is currently accredited by both (
press release ), a rare feat among European universities.
