''The Labours of Hercules'' is a Short Story collection written by Agatha Christie . It features Belgian detective Hercule Poirot .

Hercule Poirot has decided to retire - but he will investigate a final 12 cases first. These won't be just ''any'' twelve cases, however: Poirot will hand-pick them based on interest. Each case is selected base on a connection to one of The Twelve Labours of Hercules .
