North Korea , with a range of 3,500 miles. It is made of a large, completely new first-stage and uses the
Nodong short-range missile as its second stage. It has a relatively low payload to be used for
Conventional Weapons , this suggests it would be armed with chemical, biological, or even
Nuclear Weapons . Some experts have suggested that its range would be sufficient to strike the continental
Western United States . Support for this project has come from many sources in many forms, including funding from
Iran and expertise in
Aerospace Engineering from
China . No tests of this missile have yet been attemped and it appears that it may be several years before they are.
