Its collection includes a room painted by Karel Appel and a large collection of paintings by Kazimir Malevich . The Stedelijk had been temporarily relocated from its old Museumplein venue to the Oosterdokskade 3–5, just east of the Central Station. This former postal building also houses a number of media- and art-related companies. The top floor offers one of the best views of the city.
