Singida Region is one of the regions of Tanzania . Its capital is Singida .
The region is bordered to the North by the Shinyanga Region , to the Northeast by the Manyara Region , to the East by the Dodoma Region , to the Southeast by the Iringa Region , to the Southwest by the Mbeya Region and to the West by the Tabora Region .

According to the 2002 Tanzania National Census, the population of the Singida Region was 1,090,758. {Link without Title}

The Singida Region is administratively divided into 4 districts: Iramba , Manyoni , Singida Rural and Singida Urban .
