Shane McEntee was born in the town of Nobber in County Meath , and has lived their all his life. He has been a member of the Fine Gael party since he was 15 years old. McEntee formerly worked as a farmer and agricultural sales representative. He currently runs "Dee Local Bar" and is joint owner of "The Works" restaurant. McEntee has also been very involved in the Gaelic Athletic Association , training numerous teams. He first became involved in politics in 2004 when he was the Fine Gael candidate in the Meath By-election, 2005 . He was successful in getting elected and became one of the newest members of Dáil Éireann . |
