Niki Haris is a successful solo performer, singer, dancer, and backing vocalist. She is the daughter of Grammy nominated Jazz legend Gene Harris and originally from Benton Harbor, Michigan .

Artistically she has collaborated with many of the biggest stars in the show business; Michelle Branch , All Saints , Whitney Houston , Kylie Minogue , Anita Baker , Ray Charles , Julian Lennon , LeAnn Rimes , Luther Vandross and Madonna , to name a few.

Haris is a longtime friend and backing vocalist for Madonna and being a part of her Blond Ambition Tour, appeared in the movie Truth Or Dare , a documentary of backstage and onstage footage recorded on the very same tour. She also acted in a couple of Madonna videos like Vogue and Music .

Forming a couple with Donna DeLory (who is also a long-time back up singer for Madonna), Niki Haris took place in various Madonna tours including Who's That Girl Tour (1987), The Blonde Ambition Tour (1990), The Girlie Show Tour (1993) and The Drowned World Tour (2001). During The Re-Invention Tour (2004) Niki Haris was replaced with Siedah Garrett due to some rumoured personal problems with Madonna .

Niki Haris is married and has a daughter, named Jordan.
