He was born before 1919. He married Letitia Blanche Borthwick , daughter of Hon. Malcolm Algernon Borthwick and Blanche Buckland Gorrie , on 28 July 1934 . He was Captain and Adjutant in 4th Battalion Oxfordshire and Buckinghamshire Light Infantry. He was mentioned in despatches for gallantry displayed on the 20th, 22nd and 27 May 1940 . He died of his wounds whilst a prisoner of war on 1 October 1940 . |
