Methods Of Mayhem was an American Rap Metal band formed in 1999 by Mötley Crüe drummer Tommy Lee Bass as a collaboration with rapper TiLo . The group featured appearances by Fred Durst , The Crystal Method , Kid Rock , Snoop Dogg , Lil' Kim and MixMaster Mike . Their first self-titled album was released in late 1999 . It was the first solo project done by Tommy Lee on the eves of his divorce from Pamela Anderson . Lee has said he wrote most of the songs while he was in jail for hitting Anderson. BAND MEMBERS
