On 9 May 1792 , he married Princess Caroline Of Bourbon-Parma (1770-1804), daughter of Duke Ferdinand Of Parma . After widowing, he remarried, on November 7 , 1825 , to Princess Maria Luisa of Bourbon-Parma, a niece of his first wife. Seven children were born from his first marriage:
Maximilian renounced his right of succession on September 1st, 1830 in favour of his son. |
