He was Castellan of Poznań since 1615 , Court Marshals Of The Crown since 1622 (or 1630), Grand Marshals Of The Crown in 1634 - 1650 , Voivode of Rawa Voivodship , Starost wałecki, leżajski, hrubieszowski, kolski, odolanowski, śremski, łosicki, ratneński, ujski and pilski. Enemy of Stanislaw Stadnicki .

Supporter and trusted retainer of king Władysław IV Waza , he was considered efficient and just. At the same time he was merciless in exploting the Crown Lands he was entrusted as a Starost .
