In 2003 , Sebastian received the Songwriter of the Year Award for the second time at the 11th Annual ''El Premio ASCAP''. He was awarded "The Silver Pen Award" in 2000 and he wrote the Grammy Award winning ''Secreto de Amor''. Sebastian was born in Juliantla in Mexico . He was diagnosed with cancer in 1999 but continues to tour and produce new music. Sebastian was married in real life to his ''Tú y Yo'' co-star, famous actress Maribel Guardia , who, despite their divorce, remained supportive of Sebastian through his cancer ordeal. |
