Isaac Millsaps (also spelled Milsaps in some records), died March 6, 1836 at age 41, was a resident of Gonzales, TX and was a private Rifleman in the Gonzales Rangers . He was one of the defenders killed at the Battle Of The Alamo . Isaac Millsaps was a veteran of the War Of 1812 having served in the East Tennessee Militia . Actor Turk Pipkin portrayed Millsaps in the The Alamo (2004). A letter supposedly authored by Millsaps is the subject of controversy. The letter, written to his wife Basheba, details the last moments of the defenders inside The Alamo . |
