HISTORY


The ''Quebec City metropolitan area'' (QMA) was created on January 1, 2002. Creation date of the new towns of Lévis and Quebec.

The population of QMA is about 750,000 inhabitants. It is the second greater community metropolitan in Quebec and the sixth in Canada.
