It condemned all of Charles I's ministers including Thomas Wentworth, 1st Earl Of Strafford (executed 1641) and Archbishop Laud (beheaded 1645). It also abolished the court of Star Chamber . Parliament passed this in 1641 without his permission and it also condemned the bishops and all of Laud's other religious reforms. The text of the Grand Remonstrance |
