Godspeed (ship)




''Godspeed'' was one of the three ships of the British East India Company led by Captain Christopher Newport on the voyage that resulted in the founding of Jamestown in the new Colony of Virginia in 1607 .

Replicas of the ''Godspeed'', as well as the larger '' Susan Constant '' and the smaller '' Discovery '', are docked in the James River at Jamestown Festival Park .
