The main towns and villages are Olbia (Terranoa), Tempio Pausania (Tempiu), La Maddalena (A Madalena), Arzachena (Alzachena) and Calangianus (Caragnani). Is part of the new province of " Olbia-Tempio " with Olbia and Tempio Pausania as administrative capitals.
