Eastbourne College is an independent mixed day/boarding school for children aged 13-18, situated on the south coast of England. The college's current headmaster is Simon Davies. The college was founded by the Duke Of Devonshire and other prominent Eastbourne citizens in 1867 and has been growing ever since. It is a school that is developing rapidly and continually raising its reputation. A school where children consistently over achieve. The school is located in the Lower Meads area of Eastbourne, in a mainly residential area, most of the school buildings are on a central campus area but many others are scattered in the immediate vicinity. New Science building New DT building SPORTS AT THE COLLEGE As at many other public schools, sports are taken very seriously at Eastbourne College and throughout the years it has produced many successful teams. Sports are played at the many facilities around the college and at various locations around the town acquired by the college. Mark Lock plays rugby for London Wasps and Hugo Southwell for Scotland. Will Green played for Wasps when he won the premiership along with Mark Lock before moving onto Ireland. COLLEGE HOUSES
