The Early Modern Times are a historical era, which lasted from the end of Middle Ages to the beginning of the actual Modern Times at the end of 18th century. The Renaissance (about 1420-1630) is a transition period which prepared the advent of the Early Modern Times by a reconnection of the west with Classical Antiquity , Art and Sciences and the rise of Commerce and Exploration .
