Duels are a British band from Leeds and consist of brothers Jon Foulger (vocals) and Jim Foulger (guitar) and their cousin Katherine Botterill (keyboard), as well as Jon Maher (bass) and James Kenosha (drums).

Formed from the ashes of band SammyUSA, their early demos received welcome attention from UK radio DJs such as Zane Lowe and Steve Lamacq . Their first limited edition single '''Potential Futures''' was released on the ''Transgressive'' label on 18 July 2005 .

In May 2005 they signed to Nude Records , with an album expected in June 2006. Their second single, Pressure On You, was released on 7 November 2005. Third single, 'Animal' was released on Monday 10th of April 2006.


TOUR DATES

Duels toured with Graham Coxon , opening the nights for the former Blur guitarist.
Also, a one-off date with The Automatic supporting Kaiser Chiefs in Leeds.
A headline tour is also expected to be announced to coincide with the release of the band's debut album.
