His other compositions are not as well known but have seen some Liturgical use, particularly in Catholic worship. Schutte has also released several recordings. His early work was as a member of a group called the St. Louis Jesuits , with whom he released nine CDs. Other members of the St. Louis Jesuits were Bob Dufford, Roc O'Connor, John Foley and Tim Manion. He has also released five solo CDs through his publisher Oregon Catholic Press .
