They have released four albums ''Mucho Barato'' (1997), ''Artillería Pesada, Presenta'' (1999), ''Solo Para Fanáticos'' (2002), and ''Uno, Dos: Bandera'' in 2004. Also Control Machete has some songs in the "Amores Perros" soundtrack and in "Un Tributo a Jose Jose". Also, their song "En El Camino" was featured in "Land of the Dead" (2005). The group moved to the mainstream after their song ''Sí Señor'' was used as backing in the Levi's Super Bowl Ad ''Crazy Legs''. However, their debut album was already a bestseller, with 100 000 units sold in Mexico and 400 000 in all of Latin America. Their track Danzón features Buena Vista Social Club's Rubén González. "Si señor" was featured in the film Amores Perros by Alejandro González Iñárritu. EXTERNAL LINK |
