Caerphilly Rugby Football Club is a Welsh Rugby Union team founded in 1887 . Their home ground is Virginia Park in Caerphilly . Their nickname is ''The Cheesemen''. They are playing in the Asda League Division 1 in the 2005-2006 season. The club was formed in 1887 , and have spent many years in the top divisons of Welsh League Rugby . Their home ground Virginia Park is a small Stadium with all-seated stands on either side of the pitch and a non-seated stand at one end of the pitch. When rain falls during a home game, the regular standing fans allegedly tend to chant "We wanna roof! We wanna roof" till the rain (or the game) finishes. Caerphilly also featured in two recent Cup Finals , the Parker Pen Shield European Cup Final 2002 (losing to French team Castres Olympique ) & the Welsh Cup Final in 2004 (losing to Neath RFC ).
