''Bad Girls'' is an album and song by Donna Summer . The album, released as a double-disc album in 1979 (see 1979 In Music ), peaked at number one on Billboard Music Chart 's pop albums chart and number two on the hip hop/R&B charts.

Released after Summer went through a battle of depression, it showcased the 30-year-old's talent for writing lyrics and melodies, and gospel-like vocal style. Most of the tracks on ''Bad Girls'' are Rock songs, including hits "Hot Stuff" and "Dim All the Lights". The album went on to sell 7 million copies and top the charts for 6 weeks, making it Summer's biggest-selling album.

"Hot Stuff" was included on '' Rolling Stone 's'' list of the "100 Greatest Pop Songs".
