Their first album, ''Proyecto Akwid'', won two '' Billboard '' Prizes and a Latin Grammy Award for Best Latin Rock/Alternative Album, and went Platinum in the Latin market (200,000 sales), almost entirely on the basis of sales to native Spanish -speakers.
