This greatest hits album was recorded between 1975 - 1983 before Rainbow disbanded in 1985 . It is of the Rock genre, and it illustrates the great vocals of Ronnie James Dio , the first Rainbow vocalist (who has had a successful solo career and sung for bands like Black Sabbath ), and it also chronicles the great riffs of the former Deep Purple guitarist Ritchie Blackmore . Many Rock lovers have heard songs written and performed by Rainbow, but have never actually realized it was this band who released those hit's like "Man On Silver Mountain", "Stone Cold", and "Street of Dreams", which have become a genuine classics.
