The 1984 Summer Paralympics were the seventh Paralympic Games to be held. They were held in Stoke Mandeville , England (wheelchair athletes) and New York , United States Of America (cerebral palsy, visually impaired, amputees, and ''les autres''). These were the last Summer Paralympics not held at the site of the Summer Olympics .
