It was founded in 1976 by Dan Fylstra as Personal Software , and in 1982 was renamed "VisiCorp" with the success of VisiCalc. VisiCorp was sold to Pallidan Software after a legal feud between Software Arts (the author) and VisiCalc and VisiCorp.
