Vinny Appice

Appice joined Black Sabbath in 1980, and appeared on the albums Mob Rules and Live Evil . In late 1982, he left Sabbath with vocalist Ronnie James Dio , and formed the band Dio. He appeared on the Dio albums Holy Diver , The Last In Line , Sacred Heart , Strange Highways , Angry Machines and Inferno - Last In Live .

Appice returned to Black Sabbath in 1992 for Dehumanizer , and also joined the band in 1998 as a replacement for original drummer Bill Ward .

He appeared also in 2003 Erik Norlander 's Music Machine CD

He also recorded and toured with Rick Derringer on "Derringer Live."
