The Vancouver Millionaires were a professional Ice Hockey team in Vancouver, British Columbia , Canada from 1911 to 1926 . In 1922 the team's name was changed to the '''Vancouver Maroons'''. Initially playing in the Pacific Coast Hockey Association through 1924 , the team became a member of the Western Canada Hockey League when the two leagues merged that year. They won the Stanley Cup in 1915 , defeating the Ottawa Senators 3 games to 0, and played for it in 1918 , 1921 and 1922 . Their jerseys were Maroon with a White V, with Vancouver spelled down one side of the V and up the other. Hall Of Famers Fred "Cyclone" Taylor and Didier Pitre played for the Millionaires. SEE ALSO |
