In 2006 Branson spun off the relatively unsuccessful V2 Records North America - the new owner is Sheridan Square Entertainment, who have merged V2 with their label Artemis. The new label is still "part of the Virgin group," but its future relationship with Branson is unknown. NOTABLE ARTISTS
