Information About

Unrequited

The group members have never met, each member living on a different continent to the other. Together, they write music that has been described as an 'eclectic mix of alternative rock and orchestral instruments, sprinkled lightly with electronic beats and post rock influences.' Their first album, Halos in the Sky, was written from 2004 to early 2005.

HISTORY

The band was born in 2003 when Heather Chapman replied to an ad Cade posted on a graphics design forum asking for a female vocalist. Cade received samples of her singing, and liked it, so he collaberated with Heather and the first recording of Anachronic was born, which would later be re-recorded and mastered multiple times before being released on their free-to-download release entitled The Day It Rained Red in 2003.

After working with a large number of musicians over the internet, the duo became three with the introduction of Kim Turley in 2004. The group adopted the name ''Unrequited'' and began work on their first release. In July, 2005, the band released ''Halos in the Sky.''

LINE-UP

The band is essentially Cade, Heather Chapman, Kim Turley, and many inconsistent contributors, similar to groups such as Nine Inch Nails and Pigface .
