The University of Wisconsin-Stout is a member campus of the University Of Wisconsin System . The school was founded in 1891 in Menomonie, Wisconsin and has more than 8,000 students. Specializations include business, industrial management, technology, education, human development, and art and design. UW-Stout is a "special mission" institution within the UW System, geared toward preparing its students for careers in a variety of specialized educational- and industry-related fields. UW-Stout's sports teams are the Blue Devils and school colors are blue and white. UW-Stout plays in the WIAC in NCAA Division III .
