The United Democratic Party is the main opposition Political Party in Belize . It currently holds eight of the 29 seats in the House Of Representatives . The UDP was the party of former Prime Minister Of Belize Manuel Esquivel . The present leader of the party is the Hon. Dean Barrow who is an elected member of the House of Representatives.
