Since 1978, GFC has been under the direction of Loui Dobin . GFC has a ropes course, a lake, an indoor gym, 2 pools, and a Gaga dome. The camp is a modern Air-conditioned facility where campers typically attend month long sessions. In addition to sports and traditional summer camp activities, GFC offers Jewish education, worship sessions, events to teach Israeli culture and song sessions featuring Hebrew songs and dances. GFC is fully accredited by the American Camp Association . During the non-summer months, the camp is rented by URJ synagogues or NFTY 's Texas-Oklahoma regional youth, as well as a variety of outside groups, for day-long and week-long retreats.
