HISTORY It was organised by Frank Plowright and Hassan Yussuf throughout via their company Rusty Staples, but many others contributed either for a few years or on the convention days themselves. Most prominent was Richard Barker, who co-organised until 1993 (?). It was held in London until 1997 and Manchester in 1998 . A second convention ( called the ''Glasgow Comic Art Convention'' ) was organised by Rusty Staples and held in Glasgow from 1990 to 1997 . UKCAC was succeeded by Comic Festival , run in Bristol from 1999 - 2004, then by Comic Expo , which began in 2005. EXTERNAL LINKS |
