Tucson International Airport is the second largest commercial airport in Arizona . It is located 6 miles (10 km) south of Tucson , in Pima County , Arizona .

Although ''Tucson International'' is not a hub for any major passenger airline company, it does serve as a hub for Cargo Airline Evergreen International , and it receives many daily jet flights from Sky Harbor International Airport in Phoenix and from other Southwestern United States destinations, as well as a few occasional flights from the East and the Northwest. International service into this airport is limited to flights from Mexico , with Aeroméxico flying in until a few years ago. Aero California and Aerolitoral are now the Airline s which offer Tucson passengers service to Mexico.

In 2005, the airport served 4,130,321 passengers with 284,674 aircraft operations.

The airport recently had its curbside extensively renovated.
