Throughout his career in the NCTS, Bodine has 7 wins. He has 15 career NASCAR
Busch Series wins, with his first coming in only his twenty-second career start. His best racing success in the Busch Series, occurred in 1997 when he finished second in the point standings. He has gone winless in 226 NASCAR
Nextel Cup Series starts during his career. Bodine ran full-time in the Nextel Cup Series in 1994 and 1995 for owner Butch Mock. The 1994 season remains Bodine's best Cup campaign. He finished 20th in the series standings with seven top-10 finishes in 30 starts. Over the next several seasons, Bodine was shuffled around the Cup Series, running for several different owners in several part-time rides. Bodine made his return to a full-time seat in the Cup Series in 2001 and, despite some promising runs, battled bad luck and mechanical trouble on his way to an unfulfilling 29th in the point standings.
Todd found success in this series beginning during the 2004 season. Competing in ten events, he won two of them while averaging a 13th place finish. In 2005 he experienced event greater success. While competing in the series' entire twenty-five race schedule, he won five races, including the final three of the season. He earned $649,357 for his success this season. By winning the final three races of the season, he made a serious run for the title. With four races remaining in the season Todd was fourth in the standings, a dismal 256 points behind leader
Ted Musgrave . With Bodine's three wins, he was able to gain one spot to third and an entire 183 points on Musgrave to finish only 73 points behind.
