The Time-Life Building, located at 1271 Avenue Of The Americas in Rockefeller Center in New York is an historically important building opened in 1958 and designed by Wallace Harrison of Harrison, Abramovitz, And Harris .

The building was the first expansion of Rockefeller Center west of Avenue of the Americas. It is a 48 story building, with green glass windows and column-free floors of 28,000 square feet. It was first occupied by Time Inc. , the publisher of Time and Life magazines. CNN 's American Morning was based here for several years.
