Tier 2

. The helm is obtained from Onyxia , the leggings from Ragnaros , and the other pieces are from various bosses in Blackwing Lair . The sets for the following classes are:
  • Warrior: Battlegear of Wrath

  • Rogue: Bloodfang Armor

  • Priest: Vestments of Transcendence

  • Paladin: Judgement Armor

  • Shaman: The Ten Storms

  • Druid: Stormrage Raiment

  • Mage: Netherwind Regalia

  • Warlock: Nemesis Raiment

  • Hunter: Dragonstalker Armor

The advantage of Tier 2 items over Tier 1 and Tier 0 items is that they generally offer more armor and statistics to the wearer. This, however, does not apply to all the sets. Some of the Tier 2 sets such as the Ten Storms offer the user ample +damage and healing bonuses and +critical strike with spells bonuses at the expense of small amounts of intellect (as compared to the corresponding Tier 1 set '''The Earthfury'''). All of these bonuses vary from class to class. A unique part of the Tier 2 sets (shared by all the other tiered armor sets) is that they offer set bonuses when the character has accumulated enough pieces of the set.

By many players of World Of Warcraft Tier 2 sets are considered armor sets which offer some to PvE but more to PvP. In terms of statistics many of these armor sets are upgrades from their Tier 1 counterparts, however some of them have more of a PvP twist to them, sometimes sacrificing small amounts of intellect (in caster cases) for slightly more stamina. In the example of the Shaman (World Of Warcraft) Tier 1 set The Earthfury Shamans receive ample intellect and stamina bonuses, as well as a combination of +healing, +damage and healing, and +critical strike with spells. In their Tier 2 set, however, the '''Ten Storms''' they sacrifice moderate amounts of intellect in exchange for extra stamina, moreover, much of the focus on the '''Ten Storms''' is +damage and healing as opposed to +healing. This is just one example of how certain Tier 1 sets offer more PvE benefits than their Tier 2 counterparts, please note, however, that this is only one comparison. By contrast the Warrior Tier 2 set is solely PvE based, and is considered an upgrade to Tier 1 with little to no PvP viability (beyond the large ammounts of stamina it offers).
