Tiber Septim (a.k.a. Talos) was was born in the Third Era, and was the founder and the first Emperor of the Third Empire Of Tamriel . To increase his power, Tiber Septim struck a deal with the Tribunal of Vvardenfell - Morrowind was to be granted a degree of sovereignty in exchange for Numidium . With its help, he united the entire continent under his banner. Tiber Septim was an ancestor of Uriel Septim VII . It is from this Emperor that the official name of the currency of the Empire, the Septim , was derived. It should also be noted that Tiber Septim also is one of the Nine Divines , a collection of holy gods who fulfill the duties of bearers of "light" and "good" in the world of The Elder Scrolls, and is the only mortal to ever reach such a state of divinity. |
